Kate Huleatt

Kate Huleatt is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel for Securities and Corporate Governance at Takeda, a position held since September 2022. In addition, Kate is a Charter Member of TechGC, an exclusive community designed for Deputy General Counsels to share expertise and support each other's careers. Previously, Kate has held roles such as Pro Bono Counsel at Accompany Doula Care and Corporate Counsel at Abcam. Kate's experience also includes serving as an Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP in the Life Sciences and Technology sector and as an Assistant Contract Specialist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where contract negotiations were a key responsibility. Earlier in Kate's career, analytical skills were developed at ICF International, supporting the Department of Justice. Academically, Kate holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and English from West Virginia University.
