Kelly Woltornist

Kelly Woltornist has extensive experience in learning and development, serving as Head of Global Learning and Head of Global Learning Strategy at Takeda from January 2021 to March 2022. Prior to this role, Kelly Woltornist enjoyed a long tenure at Merck from April 1991 to January 2021, where positions included Director of Learning Architect for Leadership and Enterprise Development, Director of the Merck Manufacturing Leadership Development Program, and Director of MMD Learning and Development. Notably, Kelly Woltornist led the flagship manufacturing early talent program that developed critical leadership capabilities and implemented robust learning strategies to enhance business performance. Earlier in Kelly Woltornist's career, roles included Project Manager/Consultant, managing instructional design teams for various organizations, and Environmental Engineer, overseeing remediation projects. Academic qualifications include a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master’s Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg.
