Lawrence Akpore

Lawrence Akpore is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and business excellence management across various industries. Currently serving as Global Director at Takeda, Lawrence previously held the position of Director of Business Excellence in Los Angeles County, California. At Georg Fischer, Lawrence was the Director of Operations, and at 3M, Lawrence progressed through multiple roles, ultimately becoming the Site Value Stream Manager, where responsibilities included managing over 70 personnel and overseeing the total value stream process. Lawrence also held significant roles at GE as a Manufacturing Engineer. Academically, Lawrence is pursuing a Doctor of Engineering at Texas A&M University, alongside a Master of Liberal Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Harvard University. Additional qualifications include a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Systems and an MBA, coupled with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos.
