Marty Gajan is a seasoned professional in data privacy and digital ethics with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Data Privacy & Digital Ethics Lead for Global R&D at Takeda since September 2025, Marty previously held senior positions at Takeda Oncology, including Head of Digital Ethics & Compliance and Technology Ethics & Data Privacy Officer. Prior roles include Director of IT Compliance and Data Privacy at bluebird bio and Senior Manager at BDO USA, LLP, specializing in Governance and Risk Compliance. Marty also brings significant experience from Deloitte and Bank of America, where roles included Vice President and Senior Consultant, as well as Technical Account Manager at iLumin Software Services. Marty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University.
