Michael Lee

Michael Lee is an accomplished leader in the oncology sector with extensive experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Currently serving as Vice President and Global Program Leader in Oncology at Takeda since March 2025, Michael previously held the position of Vice President and Product Team Leader for Oncology at Bayer from December 2023 to February 2025. Prior to that, Michael worked at AbbVie from December 2013 to November 2023 in various senior roles, including Senior Director for Asset Strategy in both Oncology and Immunology, and Director in Corporate Strategy. Earlier experience includes a managerial role in Pipeline and Portfolio Planning at Genentech and consulting positions at ZS Associates. Michael holds a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
