Oyuntuya Munkhbat

Oyuntuya Munkhbat is an experienced professional in analytical development within the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Associate Director of CMC Analytical Development at Takeda since October 2023. Prior to this role, Oyuntuya held various positions at SQZ Biotechnologies, including Associate Director, where responsibilities included leading teams for the development of analytical control strategies for immune-oncology cell therapies, as well as overseeing the development of test methods using advanced techniques such as flow cytometry and qPCR. Previous experience also includes a role as Analytical Chemist at Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing and a significant academic background, culminating in a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, alongside additional qualifications in immunology from Harvard Medical School. Oyuntuya has a solid foundation in polymer science and organic synthesis, demonstrated through diverse research projects and academic roles at multiple institutions.
