Rachel Chapman

Rachel Chapman has over 16 years of experience in legal and privacy roles, currently serving as Lead Counsel - Data Privacy & Artificial Intelligence at Takeda since October 2007. In addition to this role, Rachel has held various positions at Takeda, including Global Privacy Regulatory Lead, Regional Privacy Lead & Counsel for the US/Americas and R&D, Assistant General Counsel and Privacy Officer for the U.S., Senior Counsel, Assistant Senior Counsel, and Counsel. Prior to joining Takeda, Rachel worked as a Staff Attorney at Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter from 2004 to 2007. Rachel earned a Juris Doctor degree in Law, specializing in Health Law, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
