Sini Eskola

Sini Eskola is an accomplished professional in the field of regulatory affairs and policy, currently serving as the Head of International Regulatory Policy and Innovation at Takeda since April 2025. Eskola oversees Global Regulatory Policy and Innovation International initiatives, with a focus on regions including the EU, Canada, Growth and Emerging Markets, while collaborating with teams across the US, China, Japan, and various multi-national and local operating countries. In addition, Eskola has been a PhD candidate at Utrecht University since January 2019, conducting research on the use of Real World Data/Evidence in medicine development and regulatory decision making. Prior to these roles, Eskola held several leadership positions at the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations from February 2014 to April 2025, and worked at AstraZeneca in various regulatory capacities from 2008 to 2014. Eskola's career began as Executive Director of the Finnish Pharmacists' Society from 2005 to 2008, along with serving as Editor in Chief for its publication. Sini Eskola holds a Master of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Helsinki, earned in 2005.
