Som Bandyopadhyay

Som Bandyopadhyay, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in the field of computational oncology and bioinformatics, currently serving as the Head of Computational Oncology at Takeda. With prior experience as Vice President of Bioinformatics & Data Sciences at Paratus Sciences and leadership roles at GSK, including Head of Data Strategy and Senior Director, Gene Domain Owner, Som has a strong background in research and early development. Notable contributions also include roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Translational Bioinformatics Team Lead and at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research as Clinical Genomics Expert. Som holds a Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Genomics from the University of Wyoming, earned between May 2002 and April 2006.
