Stephen Hatke

Stephen Hatke is a seasoned manufacturing operations executive with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at Takeda since March 2015, Stephen leads the Thousand Oaks facility, focusing on the production of cell therapies and recombinant proteins. Prior roles include Sr. Director of Manufacturing & Manufacturing Support at Takeda, overseeing operations for the Fractionation Business Unit, and Director of Manufacturing Technologies at Amgen, where Stephen implemented quality and compliance improvements. Previous experience also includes directing third-party operations at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics and a long tenure at Amgen, where leadership spanned various manufacturing teams. Stephen holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Colorado State University.
