Wolfgang Teschner

Wolfgang Teschner is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Business Development Support & Execution at Takeda since January 2019. Prior to Takeda, Wolfgang held multiple director roles at Shire, including Director of Plasma Process Innovation and New Technology Management and Director of Global Process Intelligence, where responsibilities encompassed scouting plasma innovation technology, providing technical solutions for manufacturing issues, and supporting patent defense cases. Wolfgang's career began at Baxalta, where significant contributions were made in global process intelligence and plasma product development from bench scale to production scale. Wolfgang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the University of Regensburg and completed research at the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique from 1987 to 1989.
