Laura Morillas, PhD has a diverse background in research and project management related to environmental sciences and sustainable development. Laura has experience working with various institutions such as The University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and The University of New Mexico. Laura's expertise includes research in areas such as agriculture water use efficiency, forest mortality, and evapotranspiration modeling. Currently, Laura is the Director of Quality and Reforestation Partnerships at Taking Root, where Laura helps smallholder farmers grow trees and earn money from carbon removal efforts.
