Annie Wachsmuth

Annie Wachsmuth is a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer at Taktile. Annie has a wealth of experience in data science, analytics, and software engineering.

Annie started their career as a Fellow Intern at McKinsey & Company. Annie then became an Analytics Consultant - Data Science and later a Senior Consultant (Lead Data Scientist). Annie then spent time at QuantumBlack, a McKinsey company, as a Senior Consultant (Lead Data Scientist).

In December 2019, Annie joined N26 Group as a Visiting KYC Data Scientist. In this role, they built fraud detection models for the KYC process. Annie then moved to BCG GAMMA in July 2019, where they spent one month as a Visiting Data Scientist. During their time at BCG GAMMA, Annie built a business decision layer with next best action logic on top of the outputs of a churn prediction model.

Before joining Taktile, Annie was a Working Student Software Engineer at NavVis from December 2017 to June 2018. Annie was also a Working Student in Innovation Management at NavVis from June 2017 to November 2017. Annie started their academic career as a Graduate Student Assistant in Statistics at Technische Universität München from April 2017 to July 2017.

Annie Wachsmuth completed a Master of Science in Mathematics at the Technical University of Munich, followed by a Master of Science in Mathematics at the Sorbonne Université. Annie then completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Annie holds certifications from Coursera in Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
