Sim Evans has a diverse range of work experience in the field of English language instruction. They started their career at the University of Bahrain as an Assistant Professor, where they were responsible for various academic planning and teaching duties. They then worked at IDP Education Ltd, where they developed curriculum and taught business English. Sim also taught at the University of Melbourne and the Institute of Public Administration in Saudi Arabia, where they developed materials and taught pre-entry level language skills. They later served as a lecturer at the University of Glasgow and held a senior teaching and curriculum development position at the EIU Language Center. Sim also worked as a teacher, tutor, and coach at FORM Training, providing academic literacy and IELTS preparation classes. They further expanded their experience at Macquarie University as a teacher and curriculum developer.
