Ramona Johnson, CCE, has extensive experience in credit and accounts receivable management across various industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Credit & Accounts Receivable at Talbert Building Supply since July 2018, Ramona previously held positions including Corporate Credit Manager at Cross Company and Senior District Credit Manager at Mayer Electric Supply Co., Inc. Contributions to industry groups include chairing the SACM Industrial Supply Group and the SACM Electrical Suppliers Credit Group. Ramona's career also includes roles such as Regional Credit Manager at State Electric Supply and Corporate Credit Manager at Unifi Manufacturing, where significant responsibilities involved managing receivables and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Talbert Building Supply’s roots date back to the late 1930s when brothers Edd and J.D. Talbert began harvesting timber for a sawmill. The brothers founded Roxboro, NC, based Talbert & Talbert Lumber Company in the 1950s. In 1983, Edd’s son Danny added a retail store that became Talbert Building Supply, Inc. in 1990. Since then, we have added branches in Durham, Clarksville, VA, Asheboro, Clemmons, and Danville, VA.
