Stephanie Shenton, CPA

Stephanie Shenton, CPA has a varied work experience. Stephanie began their career in 2001 as a Certified Pool Operator, Water Safety Instructor, and Lifeguard for the YMCA of the USA. Stephanie also held a similar role for Dorchester County Recreation & Parks. In 2005, they became an Assistant Manager, Personal Trainer, and Group Fitness Instructor for Powerhouse Gym, and an Exercise & Rehabilitation Technician and Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Instructor for Salisbury Physical Therapy. In 2009, they took on a role as a Site Supervisor and Certified Medical Assistant for Anne Arundel Medical Center, and a Certified Medical Assistant Intern for Mary Ann Moore MD. In 2013, they became an Audit and Tax Manager for CBIZ MHM, LLC. In 2018, they became an Internal Audit Manager for Samaritan's Purse. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Certified Public Accountant for Talbot County Public Schools, where they had previously been Head Coach for Easton High School's Varsity Boys' and Girls' Tennis Teams in 2007.

Stephanie Shenton, CPA has a diverse educational background. Stephanie obtained their Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Salisbury University in 2006. Stephanie then attended the University of Virginia for one year and received a Certified Medical Assistant certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants in 2009. Stephanie went on to receive their Master of Science in Accounting and Business Advisory Services from Towson University in 2013 and is currently a Certified Public Accountant.
