Mashhood Rastgar

Mashhood Rastgar has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Mashhood began their career as a Web Administrator at UCLU PiMedia, where they developed and maintained the company's website and significantly improved its online presence. Mashhood also worked as a Web Developer at UCL Advances, where they set up the platform for their website and demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills.

Mashhood then joined designplox as a Web Enthusiast, where they worked on challenging projects and utilized the latest web technologies. Mashhood also served as an All Rounder Software Engineer at Testmunk, where they contributed to both frontend and backend tasks and played a pivotal role in the development of the Testmunk device cloud. Testmunk was later acquired by Snapchat.

Moving forward, Mashhood took on the role of Technical Lead, Partner at MarketLytics. Mashhood initially worked as a Technical Consultant for startups and eventually became a partner in the company. Mashhood led a dedicated team and worked directly with clients to solve challenges and create exceptional products. Mashhood gained expertise in various languages and frameworks during their time with MarketLytics, including Scala, Node JS, Angular, iOS, Android, and PHP.

After that, Mashhood became the Founder and Technical Lead of Recurship, focusing on building fast, responsive, and scalable applications using MEAN stack technologies. Mashhood collaborated with a talented team to deliver high-quality applications for startups worldwide.

Mashhood also served as the Chief Innovation Officer at voxlabs, a collective of designers, developers, engineers, and researchers dedicated to pushing the boundaries of digital product creation. Mashhood's role involved conceptualizing and delivering digital products and experiences that added value and made a meaningful impact.

Mashhood's experience also includes working as a Google Developer Expert, where they learned about the latest web technologies and shared their knowledge with the community through mentoring, speaking engagements, and workshops.

In their most recent role as CTO at Sastaticket.pk, Mashhood led the engineering team and focused on creating a top-notch digital travel management platform in the region. Mashhood determined the technical direction of the product and utilized various technologies to build a scalable and reliable platform.

Currently, Mashhood is working as the Head of Engineering at Taleemabad, where they are helping the company build its engineering team and scale its products for schools and children in Pakistan. Mashhood collaborates with various teams, including Academics, Product, Design, Customer Support, and Growth, to develop processes that enable the company to scale and deliver outstanding products.

Mashhood Rastgar completed their A Levels education at Karachi Grammar School from 2007 to 2009, with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Economics. Mashhood then moved on to pursue their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science at UCL from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Mashhood Rastgar obtained certifications in Mobile Web Specialist from Google Developers in December 2017 and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in December 2012.
