Laura Sawler

Laura Sawler has held a variety of roles in the past decade. In 2011, they began working as a Physiotherapist for Cape Breton Regional Hospital. In 2014, they became Self Employed as a Physiotherapist. In 2016, they took on the role of Product Management and User Experience at MyStrengthBook. In 2019, they became the Head of Product Design at Touch Intelligence Inc. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Director of Product at Talem AI.

Laura Sawler has a diverse educational background. Laura obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Physical Therapy/Therapist from Dalhousie University between 2009 and 2011. In 2018, they earned a Certificate in Design of Everyday Things from Udacity. Laura is currently enrolled in a Certificate program in Product Management for AI and Data at Udemy, which is scheduled to end in 2022. Additionally, they are an Udemy Alumni of The Complete App Design Course and a UX Designer Nanodegree from Udacity. Laura also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from St. Francis Xavier University, which they obtained between 2005 and 2009.
