Christopher Johnson

Christopher Johnson is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in the energy sector. Currently serving as Design Engineering Manager at Talen Energy since February 2024, Christopher also holds the position of Acting BOP Supervisor at Florida Power & Light Company. With a tenure at Florida Power & Light Company starting in 2015, Christopher has progressed from Maintenance Programs Department Head to various managerial roles, including Maintenance Project Manager and Civ Mech Design Engineering Supervisor. Prior experience includes a senior role at INPO as a Senior Equipment Reliability Evaluator on loan from Talen Energy. Christopher holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Strome College of Business and a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from South Dakota Mines.
