Mike Peterson

Mike Peterson currently serves as the Electrical Operations Manager for Substation & Transmission Lines at Talen Energy, a position held since June 2021, while also having acted as a Sr. Project Manager. Prior experience includes various roles at PPL Electric Utilities from January 2013 to June 2021, culminating in the position of Transmission Control Center Supervisor. Earlier experience encompasses roles as an Electrical Design Project Manager at Kamm Consulting and a Lab Technician at the University of Florida Research and Agricultural Center. Mike Peterson holds a B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Excelsior University, along with certifications in Fire Science/Fire-fighting EMT and an Associate of Arts degree from Indian River State College.
