Nolan Ovelman

Nolan Ovelman is a mechanical engineer with significant experience in the nuclear sector, currently serving as a Site Design Mechanical Engineer at Talen Energy since July 2022. Prior to this role, Nolan worked as a Project Engineer and Project Manager at Silvertip Inc. from May 2018 to July 2022, and gained hands-on experience as a Summer Intern at the same company from March 2015 to August 2017, where skills in Revit and Trace 700 were developed for heat calculations and project design. Nolan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Elizabethtown College, attended from August 2014 to April 2018, and graduated from Danville Area High School in June 2014. Early work experience includes a role as a Laborer at Mausdale Farm Supply, where problem-solving skills were utilized in machinery maintenance and customer interactions.
