Rachel Selzer

Rachel Selzer is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Manager at Talen Energy since March 2022. Prior to this role, Rachel held various positions at NRG Energy from December 2017 to March 2022, progressively advancing from Senior Financial Analyst (IV) to Senior Financial Analyst (III) within Financial Planning & Analysis. Previous experience includes serving as a Financial Analyst at Ochsner Health System and The Piada Group, as well as a Senior Financial Analyst in Marketing & Innovation Finance at The Wendy's Company. Rachel's career began with roles as a Personal Assistant to Dr. Alton F. Doody and as an Official Cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints Football Team. Additionally, Rachel gained valuable experience as an Assurance Intern at Ernst & Young. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Loyola University New Orleans and completed earlier education at Pearl River Community College and The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.
