Shannon Brown

Shannon Brown serves as the Managing Director of Asset Management at Talen Energy, overseeing operations in the West Region including ERCOT and Montana since May 2018. Prior to this role, Shannon held various leadership positions at Dynegy from 2000 to 2018, including Senior Director and Vice President of PJM Asset Management, where responsibilities included P&L management for a $1.2 billion energy division, generating significant new business revenues, and implementing improvements in asset profitability. Shannon's experience also includes optimizing coal asset management, leading commercial acquisitions, and enhancing financial performance across multiple regions. Earlier career roles encompassed accounting and financial analysis at companies like Rio Energy International, Valero Energy Corporation, and Seagull Energy. Shannon holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas State University.
