Bill Burgess has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bill started their career in 2004 as a Business Development professional at Medical Legal Expertise LLC, where they focused on marketing, sales, and project management. In 2005, they joined Continental Airlines as an Information Technology Project Manager, overseeing loyalty development and support projects. At United Airlines, they worked as a Senior Project Manager and Information Technology Specialist, leading mobile application development projects and later transitioning into a Scrum Master role for the service development team. In 2017, Burgess took a sabbatical and dealt with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
