Chris Gosney

Chris Gosney has over 6 years of experience in the security operations field. Chris began their career in 2014 as a Cyber Security Analyst at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. In this role, they monitored and analyzed Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Anomaly Detection Systems (ADS), Firewall event logs, and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) toolset event logs to identify security attacks and threats for remediation/suppression. Chris also assisted in Computer Security Incident Response activities for large organizations.

In 2016, Gosney was promoted to Senior Security Analyst at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. In this role, they were responsible for developing the cyber security expertise of a team of analysts and the technical content of security incidents.

In 2020, Gosney moved to Talion where they currently serve as the Head of Security Operations and Principal Security Analyst.

Chris Gosney obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Sheffield between 2009 and 2012. In 2015, they earned an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from Pink Elephant. In 2016, they obtained a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from the SANS Institute.
