Prior to Talka.ai, Norberto served as the Parent and Family Creation Officer at Family Growth Officer, where they relocated to Portugal to start a family. Norberto achieved high growth rates and created a supportive environment for their family.
At Google, Norberto held multiple roles as a Product Manager. Norberto led projects in conversational recommendations, personalized app and game recommendations for Google Play, YouTube's channel and video recommendation systems, and Clever Sense products. Norberto played a key role in the acquisition of Clever Sense by Google.
Before joining Google, Norberto was a Board Member at the National Board for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Norberto also served as the VP of Product at Clever Sense, a startup that specialized in AI-based curation.
Earlier in their career, Norberto founded MojaMix Inc., an internet startup focused on mass customization in the food industry. Norberto also had a summer internship as a Product Manager at Jaxtr, a mobile-web-social startup, and worked as a Product and Marketing Manager at FotoFlexer, an online photo editing application startup.
Furthermore, Norberto was an initial founding team member at Ydeas Group, where they co-founded a mobile proximity marketing company and a clean-tech company. Norberto also participated in a rotational program in management at Continental, holding various positions in management, business development, product management, and strategic purchasing.

Norberto Guimaraes has an extensive educational background. Norberto completed their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2007 to 2009. During this time, they focused on subjects such as marketing, business model innovation, entrepreneurship, customer development, and technology management.
In 2002, Norberto pursued postgraduate courses in system dynamics, decision support systems, innovation management, and logistics at Chalmers University of Technology. Norberto also undertook their final thesis on innovation management and strategy in high tech at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan in 2001.
Previously, Norberto had earned an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Universidade do Porto between 1995 and 2001. Additionally, they were an Erasmus exchange student at Hamburg University of Technology in 2000, focusing on marketing and industrial design.
Norberto's educational journey began at the German School in Porto, where they completed their Abitur, a secondary school leaving qualification, from 1983 to 1995.
