Thorsten Schaffer

Thorsten Schaffer, CISSP, currently serves as the Director of Privacy and AI Governance at Talkdesk since May 2023. Prior to this role, Thorsten was the Director of Information Security, EMEA (DPO) at Amelia from December 2017 to May 2023. Thorsten's experience includes positions at IPsoft, where roles ranged from Senior EU Information Security Specialist to Technical Transition Executive, and at controlware as Service Manager and Teamleader for Firewall/VPN Support. Thorsten began a career in security engineering at Colt Telecom, serving as Third Level Security Engineer and Network and Security Engineer. Educational qualifications include a certified engineer degree from Werner von Siemens Schule and an Abitur with a focus on English, Physics, and Computer Science from Ernst Reuter Schule.
