Tarik Mehmedovic

Tarik Mehmedovic has a diverse work experience in the field of UI/UX design and development. Tarik is currently working as a UI/UX Design Lead at FURTHER since January 2022. Prior to this, Tarik worked at Maestral Solutions, Inc. as a UI/UX Design Lead from February 2013 to January 2022. In this role, they designed user interfaces and user experiences for various platforms such as web, mobile apps, in-car devices, and point-of-sale devices. Tarik also led a team of experienced UX designers and implemented responsive websites using the latest technologies.

Alongside their professional roles, Tarik served as a Lecturer at ACADEMY387 from October 2015 to September 2016. Tarik developed and conducted a user experience course with a focus on practical work and exercises, spanning three weeks and nine 2.5-hour sessions.

Tarik also gained experience as a Freelance Web Developer/Designer from May 2009 to November 2012 and as a Graphic Designer from July 2006 to September 2012. During this time, they worked on various projects independently.

Furthermore, Tarik served as an IT Manager, Web & Graphic Designer at Sarajevo Graduate School of Business from March 2008 to September 2009. Tarik was responsible for creating successful marketing campaigns, managing the organization's IT network and equipment, designing the official website layout, and managing website content and courseware.

Tarik Mehmedovic completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Systems & Economics from the University of Buckingham in 2008. Tarik then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Information Systems / Business Development from Linnaeus University, which they completed in 2011.
