Matthew Theakston

Matthew Theakston is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at RebornWebs since November 2023 and at MyDarkPlace since March 2017. Matthew has also contributed to TalkLife as a Moderator and Senior Moderator since April 2016. Previous experience includes co-founding EssenceVapes and holding the position of Director of Customer Service at Licensecart. Matthew has actively engaged in student representation at Sunderland Students'​ Union and the Union of Students. Educationally, Matthew is pursuing a degree in Health and Social Care at the University of Sunderland, building on a foundation in Joint Honours from the University of Derby and various academic pursuits at Middlesbrough College and Redcar & Cleveland College.
