Amy Kobezak

Amy Kobezak has been working in the field of information security and risk management for over 10 years. Amy is currently employed as the Senior Director of Information Security at Talkspace, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to joining Talkspace, Amy worked at Virginia Tech in various roles related to security risk, business operations, IT risk and security analysis, and internal audit coordination. Amy'smost recent role at Virginia Tech was as the Associate Director of Security Risk and Business Operations from June 2019 to March 2021. Amy's experience and expertise make their a valuable asset in the field of information security.

Amy Kobezak holds a Master of Information Technology degree from Virginia Tech. Amy also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Information Security and Analytics from the same institution. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from California State University, Chico. Amy has additional certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services Training and Certification, GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA) from GIAC Certifications, GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) from Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA, and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) also from ISACA.
