Daniel Nicolae

Daniel Nicolae has been working in the tech industry since 2010. In 2010, they were an iOS Developer (bad one) and Designer for Meernotes. From 2013-2017, they worked at Evernote as a UX Philosopher, prototyping and user testing the next epic thing that will make you more productive, and at Nicolae Interfaces, where they helped to build up Berlin startups, especially their user experiences and user interfaces. In 2014, they worked as a Designer for Couchsport GmbH and Jodel, and as a UX Consultant for Mimi Hearing Technologies GmbH and INSELBERG GmbH. In 2017, they were a Product Founder for All Turtles, and in 2018 they became a Cofounder for Spot: Report workplace harassment & discrimination.

Daniel Nicolae began their education in 2002 at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In 2006, they moved to The University of Edinburgh to pursue a Master of Science (MSc). After completing their MSc in 2007, they returned to the University of Oxford to pursue a MSt. In 2008, they completed their MSt and continued on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) in 2013.
