Beth Kolko is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in security, technology, and education. Currently serving as an Advisor at Tall Poppy and a Board Advisor for Leviathan Security Group, Kolko has significant expertise in providing strategic guidance and exploring new market opportunities. With a long-standing role as a Professor at the University of Washington, Kolko specializes in Human Centered Design and has over fifteen years of research experience in emerging markets. As a Founder of Hackademia, Kolko works to promote cross-disciplinary innovation through makerspaces. Previously, Kolko co-founded and led Shift Labs, producing award-winning IV infusion technologies. Kolko holds a PhD in English from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College.
