Dr. Michelle Bridgewater

Dr. Michelle Bridgewater is an experienced educator specializing in special education and educational leadership. Currently serving as Special Education Faculty at Talladega College since August 2017, Dr. Bridgewater also holds an adjunct professor position at Keiser University since January 2013, where responsibilities include teaching courses on Educational Law, Public Policy and Politics, and Qualitative Research, as well as serving on dissertation committees and developing a new course in Special Education. Additionally, from September 2007 to present, Dr. Bridgewater has been an adjunct professor at EDMC and served as a Program Specialist at Birmingham City Schools from August 1978 to May 2009. Dr. Bridgewater earned a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership with a minor in Special Education Law from The University of Alabama between 1995 and 2003.
