Teddy McDaniel

Teddy McDaniel, III currently serves as Principal at MCG Ventures LLC and as Senior Advisor to the President for Economic Development at Talladega College, both positions held since 2023. Previously, Teddy held leadership roles as President & CEO of the Urban League of Central Carolinas (2017-2023) and Austin Area Urban League (2012-2017), along with serving as Chief Operating Officer at Greater Phoenix Urban League (2009-2012). Teddy's early career includes a role as Assistant Vice President in Franchise Finance at GE Capital (2004-2009) and as Senior Risk Analyst at Franchise Mortgage Acceptance Co (1998-2002). Teddy holds a B.A. in Finance from Morehouse College, earned between 1990 and 1994, and has extensive experience in managing nonprofit programs focused on education, economic development, and financial services within the restaurant industry.
