Karen Frankenberg

Karen Frankenberg has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Karen started their career in 1985 at Kendall McGaw Laboratories, Inc. as a Manager in Finance and Planning. From there, they worked at Allied-Signal, Garrett Automotive Group, where they held positions as Manager Cost Accounting and Manager North America Pricing and Profitability.

Karen then moved to Fujitsu Business Communication Systems, where they worked for nine years in various finance and accounting roles. During this time, they also served as the Corporate Controller for Fujitsu Business Communication Systems Acquisition, LLC.

In 2001, Karen joined Altura Communication Solutions (Platinum Equity Holdings) as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Karen held this position until 2011 and was responsible for financial management, acquisition and divestiture leadership, strategic and tactical business analysis, and treasury function.

Following their tenure at Altura Communication Solutions, Karen became the CFO and Secretary of Altura Communication Solutions, LLC. under Silver Oak Services Partners. Karen managed all financial aspects of the $70 million VOIP telecommunications and data equipment service provider.

In 2014, Karen joined Tatum, a Randstad company, as a Principal, providing mid-term Chief Financial Officer and Controller services to corporate clients. Karen also supported Tatum in various capacities, including client presentations and firm growth.

Finally, Karen became the Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance at Talley, Inc. in 2016. Karen was responsible for all financial, credit, and accounting functions, driving process improvement for measurable results. Prior to this role, they served as CAO/VP of Finance at Talley, overseeing accounting, corporate functions, and human resources.

Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated their expertise in finance and accounting, strategic planning, process improvement, and leadership in various industries.

Karen Frankenberg has a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance from DePauw University. Karen also holds an MBA in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
