Jeff Sherman

Jeff Sherman is an experienced attorney specializing in federal regulatory issues in the energy sector. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at Tallgrass since July 2025, Jeff previously worked at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from June 2020 to July 2025 as an Attorney. Prior to that, Jeff held the position of Sr. Counsel at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP and Norton Rose Fulbright. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, Jeff has represented clients in significant litigated matters before the FERC, addressing cases related to market manipulation, electric and gas rate cases, and rulemaking proceedings. Jeff began the professional journey as an Associate at Powell Goldstein LLP after earning a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale University.
