Jessica Pumo

VP, Marketing at Tallwave

Jessica Pumo is the Vice President of Marketing at Tallwave. Jessica has over fifteen years of experience in marketing, sales, and teaching.

Pumo began their career as a Graduate Instructor at Arizona State University. There, they independently managed and taught two SPA111 courses per semester, authored additional curriculum, and provided and maintained online course materials.

In 2006, Pumo left academia for the corporate world, joining Pearson as the Director of Segment Marketing and Sales Enablement. In this role, they owned the marketing strategy aimed at the higher ed academic executive persona and led the delivery of sales enablement and marketing support to a sales organization focused on helping institutions grow revenue streams, improve operational efficiency, drive academic achievement, and deliver on promises to their students.

Most recently, Pumo served as the Senior Director of Employee Brand Marketing at Massage Envy from July 2016 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development and execution of employee brand marketing initiatives that would attract, engage, and retain top talent.

Pumo is currently the Vice President of Marketing at Tallwave. In this role, they are responsible for leading Tallwave’s marketing initiatives and driving growth through demand generation, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.

Jessica Pumo earned their Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Arizona State University. Jessica also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Sociology from Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, Jessica Pumo is certified by Pearson VUE as an Acclaim Early Adopter.

Jessica Pumo reports to Jeff Pruitt, CEO. They work with Ed Borromeo - President, Chris Meinerz - CFO, and Jesus Ramirez - VP, Strategy & Innovation.
