Hannes Lotz

Hannes Lotz is currently serving as the Chief Construction Officer at Talon Metals Corp. since March 2024. Previously, Hannes held various roles including Project Manager at Bigen Group, Director of Development at Tau Capital Group, and VP Construction at True Blue Developments LTD. Earlier experience includes Senior Project Manager at EOH, Project Director at AURECON SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD, and Project Construction Contract Manager for the STEP Project at Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção in the UAE. Hannes has also managed engineering on the Moatize Coal Mine Expansion Project in Mozambique and acted as Project Manager for Transnet Capital Projects at Hatch Africa. Hannes's career began as Project Engineering Manager at Murray & Roberts, focusing on the Voorspoed Diamond Mine. Hannes holds a B Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and an MBA in Business Leadership and Administration from the University of South Africa.
