Prashanth Swaminathan

Prashanth Swaminathan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Prashanth currently works as a Sales Engineer at Talon.One, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Solutions Engineer at Twilio from November 2021 to November 2022, where they acted as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them make informed tech decisions.

Before joining Twilio, Prashanth worked at Voxelgrid GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer and Machine Learning Engineer from October 2019 to October 2021. Here, they led the core tech team and played a crucial role in designing and developing the company's core products. Additionally, they built and maintained the core computer vision product as a machine learning engineer.

Prashanth's work experience also includes a role as a Data Scientist at Sixt rent a car from July 2017 to December 2018. During this period, they worked on developing a machine learning model for predicting optimal car de-fleeting and contributed to building a fast test-feedback collecting platform for Data Science projects.

Earlier in their career, Prashanth served as a Senior Software Engineer at Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions from October 2015 to June 2016. Prashanth worked on HMI for Infotainment systems in leading OEMs and played a key role in building the Infotainment system for the Bosch Car of the future, showcased in CES2015 and CES2016. Prashanth also held a Software Engineer role at Bosch from August 2013 to September 2015.

Prashanth's career began with an internship at PayPal in June 2012.

Prashanth Swaminathan holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, which they obtained from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Prashanth has also obtained several certifications. In August 2019, they completed the "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" certification from Coursera. Prashanth also earned the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" certifications from Coursera in the same month and year.
