Tim Duggan

President, Managing Partner at TalonPro Solutions

After working with The Residence Inn, Tim Duggan started Corporate Quarters in 1987 in St. Louis Missouri. The company grew rapidly and established a reputation for providing first-rate accommodations. Creating efficient systems and processes were critical to flawlessly handling the multitude of tasks required to set up a new apartment.

In the early 90’s, Corporate Quarters was changed to Castleton and the company began expanding and creating a franchise system. A software development team was hired to design a program to manage all the details of the corporate housing business. Three years later the company rolled out a proprietary system. The efficiencies were immediately noticed with fewer tasks falling through the cracks, more accurate flexible billing, timely reporting and a more efficient stress free staff. By the mid 90's Castleton consisted of 5 corporate owned properties and two franchises, reaching over 1200 units in 7 markets.

In 1995, Duggan gathered the leaders in the industry and founded the first true trade association for the corporate housing industry, The Association of Interim Housing Providers. Two years later the National Interim Housing Network merged with the AIHP leaving it the sole organization monitoring and enhancing the image of the temporary housing industry. The association today is known as the CHPA.

In 1998 Castleton was strategically positioned and sold to Globe, a national furniture provider. Duggan stayed on board for 18 months and then moved on to become a business consultant, providing services to small profit and nonprofit businesses. He became a partner in several business ventures including opportunities in land investment and development until TalonPro presented yet another business opportunity.
