Miguel O. Couto

Miguel O. Couto has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Teaching Assistant in Programming Classes at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant at ALTEN and as a Software Development Engineer, Payment at Amadeus. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Software Design Engineer II (SW Verification & Validation) and Software Design Engineer I (Application Software) at Honeywell Aerospace. Most recently, they have been a Client Services Engineer at Talos since 2023, where they are responsible for managing software deployments and supporting clients on a platform with zero downtime running in the cloud.

Miguel O. Couto's education history includes an Integrated Master in Electrical and Computers Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2009 to 2015. Miguel also participated in an Erasmus Mundus program in Computer Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in 2014. In 2012, they completed an Erasmus program in Electrical and Computers Engineering at Brno University of Technology. From 2000 to 2008, they studied Languages at Lancaster College English Institute and obtained a FCE (First Certificate in English), level B2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Additionally, they hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Honeywell Aerospace obtained in February 2016 and a FCE (First Certificate in English), level B2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
