Xavier Witdouck has a diverse work experience in the finance and technology industry. Xavier began their career as an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank from 2003 to 2006. Afterwards, they worked as Vice President of Rates Electronic Trading at Bank of America in 2006. From 2007 to 2014, they were the Director of the Global Market Strategies Group at BlackRock, where they managed a systematic hedge fund. Following that, they joined AQR Capital Management in 2014 and worked on developing research stack and high-frequency models. In 2018, Witdouck founded D3X Systems, a software provider for investment management, which was later acquired by Talos Trading Inc in 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Engineering Director at Talos Trading Inc, where they oversee the design and management of investment strategies.
Xavier Witdouck attended the International School of Brussels from 1989 to 1993, where they completed their International Baccalaureate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Following that, from 1993 to 1997, they pursued their Masters in Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London.
