Tamara Simonian

Tamara Simonian has extensive experience in sales and leadership roles within the payments industry. Tamara is currently working as a Sales Director at Talus Pay since 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Aspen Air Aviation LLC in 2018 where they held the position of Co-Founder/Lead FA until 2022.

Tamara also has a long tenure at Shift4, starting as a Regional Sales Director in 2006 and continuing in that role until 2022. At Shift4, they were responsible for driving and managing a successful executive sales team, training and coaching new account representatives, and working with the Enterprise group to secure large accounts.

Before Shift4, Tamara worked at Harbortouch POS Systems as a Regional Manager from 2006 to 2017. In this position, they managed and led a team of successful sales executives, established new agent bank partnerships, and collaborated with the lead generation team.

Tamara started their career at First Data Corporation in 1993 and held the role of Senior Account Executive/Regional Coordinator until 2005. During their time at First Data, Tamara demonstrated strong sales skills and mentored and trained new sales representatives.

Tamara Simonian received their high school diploma from Clovis High School, specializing in Marketing. Later, they attended Fresno City College from 2005 to 2006, where they pursued studies in Advertising and Marketing but did not obtain a degree. In terms of additional certifications, Tamara obtained the Certified Payment-Card Industry Security Manager (CPISM) certification from American Express in June 2015. Tamara also earned the Certified Hospitality Facilities Executive (CHFE) certification from Air Culinaire Worldwide in April 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the AirCare FACTS Certification from Aircare Crews® Staffing in February 2021, and completed CPR & AED training through the American Heart Association in the same month and year.
