Tavon Pettway

Tavon Pettway has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tavon began their career as a Quality Assurance team member with Elwood Staffing Services, Inc. in 2014, where they ensured that automotive parts met the company's standards. In 2015, they worked as an Account Manager at both DC Business Consulting Inc. and New England Air Solutions, where they excelled in door-to-door prospecting and closing sales deals.

From 2016 to 2017, Pettway served as a Brand Ambassador for Mosaic, promoting cellphone accessories and driving sales growth. Tavon then transitioned to a role as a Direct Support Professional at Resources for Human Development in 2017, where they provided support to individuals in need.

Pettway's sales career continued at Spectrum from 2018 to 2022. Initially, they worked as an Outside Sales Representative, engaging face-to-face with customers and utilizing their product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell. Tavon was then promoted to Outside Sales Manager, responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining client relationships.

In 2022, Pettway joined American Income Life as a Life Insurance Agent. In this role, they collaborated with clients to evaluate their insurance needs and provided recommendations and rate quotes. Tavon also supported clients with long-term planning and assisted with applications and underwriting approval.

Most recently, Pettway joined Talus Pay in 2023 as a Business Solution Consultant, where they utilize their expertise to provide clients with comprehensive solutions.

Throughout their career, Pettway has demonstrated strong sales and interpersonal skills, consistently driving revenue growth and contributing to the success of the organizations they have worked with.

Tavon Pettway began their education in 2017 at Central Connecticut State University School of Business, majoring in Marketing. Tavon anticipated completing their degree by May 2018. After completing their time at Central Connecticut State University, Tavon went on to attend Southern Connecticut State University School of Business in 2022. Tavon pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
