Amanda Manning, MHA, RHIA, is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Director of Patient Financial Services at Tamarack Health Hayward Medical Center since April 2022, where responsibilities include managing three departments and overseeing the development of a Rural Health Clinic. Previously, Amanda held the position of Revenue Cycle Manager at Burnett Medical Center, Inc. from August 2017 to May 2022, managing a team of 35 employees and leading staffing consolidation efforts. Amanda earned a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management with a minor in Computer Information Systems from The College of St. Scholastica.

Our 25 bed critical access hospital is connected to medical clinics, a long term care center and assisted and independent living apartments. We offer specialty services including orthopedics and urology, and area primary care physicians have privileges to see and treat patients in the hospital and Water’s Edge. Hayward Area Memorial Hospital & Water’s Edge employs over 390 people. The hospital was designed to aid in the restoration of health. Large private rooms support patient privacy. A sleeping couch in each patient room allows someone to stay with a young child or critically ill relative, in addition, attractive waiting areas support family involvement. An active volunteer organization assists staff in meeting the needs of patients and their families.
