Shannon A Joseph

Shannon A Joseph is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy and municipal governance. Currently serving as a Board Member at Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd since February 2024 and as the Chair of Energy for a Secure Future since October 2022, Shannon has a proven track record in leadership roles. Previously, at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers from April 2018 to September 2022, Shannon held the position of Vice-President, Government Relations and Indigenous Affairs. Shannon's earlier experience with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities from July 2009 to 2018 included roles such as Program Director for the Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program and Senior Manager for the Research and Development Green Municipal Fund. Shannon holds an Executive Scholars Certificate in Growth and Innovation and a Corporate Governance certification from Kellogg Executive Education, as well as a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University.
