Paul O’Brien

Paul OBrien is an experienced technology analyst and advisor with a focus on higher education. OBrien began a role as a Higher Education Technology Analyst/Advisor in November 2023, providing analysis on emerging technologies to assist institutional leaders in selecting aligned solutions. Prior to this, OBrien served as a Senior Analyst at The Tambellini Group from September 2022 to November 2023, where research and advisory services on technology solutions for colleges were conducted. OBrien retired as Vice President of Institutional Technology and Chief Information Officer at Indian River State College after a long tenure from August 1989 to March 2021. OBrien holds a Master of Science degree from Barry University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Queen's University Belfast.
