Maíra Pimentel

Maíra Pimentel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Maíra started their career at Petrobras as a Content Provider from 1997 to 1999. Maíra then worked at Yahoo as a Content Provider from 1999 to 2000. After that, they joined NEORIS as a Project Manager, responsible for web and design projects in Brazil and LATAM. Maíra worked there from 2000 to 2001. Following this, they joined TIM Brasil as a Project Manager for their value-added services division from 2001 to 2004. Maíra then served as the Gerente de Tecnologia Educacional at Oi Futuro from 2004 to 2010, where they managed the implementation of educational programs. From 2010 to 2012, they were the CEO of Ensina!, an educational organization. In 2012, they co-founded Tamboro, where they held multiple roles related to business development, sales, customer service, and mentoring. In 2022, they became a Founding Member of Rise and Raise Others (Former Uma Sobe e Puxa a Outra). Finally, in 2023, they started working as a Professor at Instituto Infnet.

Maíra Pimentel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Universidade Federal Fluminense between 1997 and 2001. Maíra then pursued a degree in Marketing at Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2002 to 2003. In 2004 and 2005, they studied Economics with a focus on Social Responsibility and the Third Sector at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
