Samane Azar-pe is an experienced impact analyst currently employed at Tameo since March 2024, focusing on the Swiss Investment Fund for Emerging Markets (SIFEM). Previously, Azar-pe served as a portfolio advisor at Symbiotics and as a consultant for the Impact-Linked Fund for Gender Inclusive Fintech at Roots of Impact, where research and analysis were conducted in impact investing and fintech trends in emerging markets. Earlier roles include investment policy analyst at the Department for International Development (DFID), where contributions were made to British International Investment and the 2X Challenge, and economist positions at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Azar-pe's career began with internships at UNDP and Apprentissages Sans Frontières, focusing on private sector development in Africa and project management. Azar-pe holds a Master’s degree in Political Economy of Development from SOAS University of London and two bachelor’s degrees in Economics and International Relations from Universidad de Salamanca and the University of Geneva, respectively.
