Rick Landuyt

Rick Landuyt has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Rick began their career as the Founder, President, and CEO of Glenco Engineering in 1984. In 1989, they founded Glenco Development Systems, a software publishing and manufacturing company, which was later sold to Standard Manifold.

In 1994, Landuyt founded RF IDeas, where they served as the Founder, President, and CEO until 2016. RF IDeas specializes in designing and manufacturing key card readers for various applications, including healthcare. During their tenure, the company's products were widely adopted in hospitals across the USA.

After leaving RF IDeas, Landuyt took on various advisory and mentorship roles. Rick served as a Mentor/Advisor at MATTER, a community of healthcare innovators focused on solving complex healthcare problems. Rick also joined the Advisory Board of Roper Technologies, specifically for their subsidiary RF IDeas, which specializes in door access card-based authentication and identification solutions.

Landuyt also provided guidance to Argonne National Laboratory as a Mentor/Advisor, assisting in the commercialization of unique technologies.

In 2016, Landuyt became a Member of the Board of Directors at Lakeland Plastics Holdings, where they contributed their expertise and insights.

Additionally, they have been involved with Tamiami Angel Funds since 2018, holding various roles including Executive Committee, Screening Chairman, and Exit Committee Chair. Tamiami Angel Funds is an angel investment group that supports early-stage companies.

Additionally, Rick has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they earned between 1975 and 1978, with a focus on Radio Frequency.
